Trampoline was gift from Nana and Papa H--very good jumping practice! :)

Blue Ridge Kite Festival last Saturday, Olivia flew an Elmo kite and had a great time!

With friends at the Kroger tent!
Worn out!
Eating ice cream cake on her birthday!

Olivia and I had a wonderful day at home Wed, on my birthday holiday. Her 3 yr checkup went great, she's 28 lbs and about 38 inches tall! We had a little "bathroom incident" while waiting for the pediatrician, but it's all good now. She said she may have a stomache bug and we are to cut out dairy for a few days (hard to digest).
I picked Olivia up early today to take her downtown to therapy for the first time at their office. Miss Linda (OT) who is subbing for Cynthia on maternity leave, was awesome with Olivia! Love her. Nancy met with us and will follow up next month with me and talk about what to do next with therapy. The OT is our focus now, though. Monday, we go get Liv's new AFO brace for her foot since she outgrew the old one, yay! But she's been doing fine without one the last few weeks. Nancy was impressed today with Liv's gait pattern and balance w/o the brace. They did lots of things like swinging, climbing up and down ladders and stairs, excersize balls, puzzles, etc. We are to keep the AFO on during the days at daycare and off in the evenings and some on weekends-it's good to walk on different surfaces without the brace, too.

April already?

olivia's birthday party was fabulous and the little princess is now three years young! nana g and ryan came in from ohio Easter weekend and were able to come to the party, too, which was nice! thanks to all for the super nice gifts.

The week before her birthday, her daycare had their Easter program and olivia's class did great! The pic with the white/pink dress on was that night.

now that she's three, we are not going to do the speech therapy anymore and cut back on physical. PT will only see her about every 3 months to evaluate her progress and check on her foot brace. The occupational therapy will continue every week, but now we have to take her to their office downtown. she's doing well with that and we've started working with constraint therapy about 5 minutes every night the last week.
