- Brian & I met online in 2000 and married in June 2003. Olivia was born April 14th, 2006, a week before due date! She has blessed us in so many ways. She had an AVM bleed in her brain at 5 mo. and had emergency surgery to remove it. She's been through 4 surgeries total, all by age 5. Oct. 6, 2006 was the date of the AVM bleed and she endured PT, OT, and Speech Therapy through Early Intervention Services until age 3. Now, only OT once/wk and an IEP through school w/sped ed, OT and Speech. Madison was born 6.29.09 and is growing up too fast, talking up a storm, potty training and enjoying time with her family and friends at daycare and church. Her cute little personality blossoms more every day. :) The girls are best friends and get along really well about 99% of the time.

Fall/Halloween 09
Halloween was great, Olivia was a princess and Maddie was a flower. We went to Lakeside's Fall Festival where Olivia played lots of games and got candy and prizes galor.

Oct 14, Maddie had her 4 mo checkup/shots and flipped from stomache to back on the table for Dr Amoroso! yay! She's flipped both ways since then and started sitting up on her own right around Christmas Day this year, almost 6mo old! Eating baby food now once to twice a day and still taking about 6oz every 3-4 hrs except at night.

has it been that long??
I apologize for not keeping this site up to date! Maddie is now 14 weeks old and doing great. She had another stomache bug for 2 weeks but I took her to the pediatrician last week and no ear infection or anything like that. She's taking soy formula still so we're mixing it with the Enfamil we already had her on. Last week I was on vacation with my girls, after the weekend of the famous Angie/Tom Bell wedding! :) We went to Ohio to visit with Brian's family last weekend, too, which was nice.
Olivia is now potty trained, I can say pretty confidently :) An accident here and there, but she's doing great!!! We are so proud! She moved up to the Two Steps Up class at daycare and seems to have adjusted well, although she misses her bff, Abby! :(

my sick girls
Olivia is on amoxicillin as of Thurs. and her cough and runny nose is getting better. She had swollen glands and fluid behind both ears. Madison is another story, she's had a fever since Wednesday, although it has come down to between 100 and 101.7 in the last 24-48 hrs. We had her back at the doctors' office this morning because she seems to be very uncomfortable when you move her or pick her up, even hard to get a burp. The blood and urine tests came back negative so we're just waiting it out...she has some sort of virus and has vomited a couple times since yesterday morning. She's still eating, just not as much as normal, and has wet diapers so they are good things. Will keep updated...

@ her 1 mo. check up, little Maddie weighed 11 lbs and measured 21 1/2 inches! She's a growing girl! We call her our "chunky monkey" now. I take her to daycare w/Olivia starting Monday, the 10th...boo hoo hoooooo
